Enjoy a few minutes of the unique sound of the veritable Jenny with its classic OX-5 Water-Cooled engine as it taxis out and takes to flight . . . each clip is of a different Jenny.  Except for their bright colors, these are identical to the planes flown by the First Aero Squadron out of the Columbus Airfield in late 1916 and early 1917.  Please click on each photo below to see its short video.  And make sure to turn on your sound!

Red fuselage on this Canadian Curtiss Jenny, called the Canuck, was a dull khaki in 1916 – 1918.  4+ Minutes Long       Notice the First Aero Squadron’s distinctive Red Star Logo on the Jenny/Canuck’s tail! Not a Canadian logo.
