Texan Air Show Ballet at Saturday’s EAA AirVenture 2016

YouTube Poster

This 6:20 long video begins with the fabled T-6 Texan Team cavorting through the sky to the majestic musical score of one of the 18th Century’s more memorable German classical composers, Johann Pachebel, whose widely popular “Pachebel Canon” provides the background for this aerial ballet of turning and twisting propeller driven airplanes.  While not a musical piece designed for ballet, the religious theme nevertheless beautifully supports the video, as you will see.

This video was just posted to YouTube today.  Here’s a quick look at two AT-6 Texan teams plus other air show greats including Sean Tucker cutting a ribbon, from the EAA AirVenture air show at Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Saturday 30 July 2016. Look for the Geico Skytypers, Canadian Harvards, Aerostars Yak 52s, Vicky Benzing’s red Stearman, Mike Goulian’s Extra 330SC, Kyle Franklin (Dracula), and Sean D. Tucker (Oracle Challenger III). And please check out our other Oshkosh videos on the Airailimages Channel on YouTube.  The video itself is courtesy of Airailimages and its videographer is Frederick A. Johnsen.
