Once again, thanks to a reminder from our FASF Aviation News Scout, Virg Hemphill, we are alerted to the impressive HD short (4:50) trailer for the wold-class famed 2016 Imperial War Museum’s annual airshow. It’s held in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain. Unlike our own world-class annual EAA AIRVENTURE, just held in Oshkosh, WI, this UK extravaganza’s primary focus is on the historic aircraft of both Word Wars, with great emphasis on the planes that literally saved England from defeat at the hands of the Axis powers during WWII, which air battle was of course named the “Battle for Britain.” And that it was!
For those of you who’d like to revisit another thrilling video of the already posted (here) 2014 Flying Legend’s Airshow, here’s our link to it from two year’s ago.
